Charming Antique Nippon Bowl - Hand-Painted Cottage & Lake Design with Handles

Discover the charm of this Nippon hand-painted handled bowl, featuring a serene cottage and lake scene. The design shows soft purple trees, golden-orange skies, and a charming cottage reflected in the water. Decorative pierced handles with gold trim add extra elegance.

-Produced in Japan between 1891-1921, marked with the green crown, "Hand Painted Nippon" stamp on the base.

1 3/4" T x 6 1/2" W x 5 3/4" D

Excellent antique condition with light wear to paint and gold trim consistent with age. There's a more visible spot of paint loss next to the right handle. There's a few pin marks from production, which is common. No chips or cracks and color is bright. (See pictures for more detail)
